Popular comedian Munawar Faruqui, who became popular after winning the title in the contentious reality series Bigg Boss 17, recently alarmed his fans with a social media post revealing his health issue.
One Friday night, Faruqui uploaded a picture on his Instagram account from a hospital room where he was receiving intravenous drip therapy. “Lag gaye nazar” is the short but moving caption he used to express his concerns about health problems.
Though there isn’t much detailed information available on Faruqui’s health, his admirers were alarmed only by seeing him getting medical attention. Quickly, the hashtag “Get Well Soon Munawar” started to trend on several social media sites, as the Bigg Boss 17 winner received a flood of love and well wishes.
When Faruqui won the biggest amount of votes in the Bigg Boss 17 grand finale, his ascent to fame came to an end. Apart from the much sought-after title, the stand-up comic received a large financial award, a brand-new automobile, and an honorary trophy. In the final were Abhishek Kumar, Mannara Chopra, Ankita Lokhande, and Arun Mashettey.
After his successful time on the reality program, Faruqui appeared prominently in a love song video called “Halki Halki Si,” which stars Hina Khan.
